Our approach

We keep data collection to a minimum and use no advertising cookies. To speed up booking, the site quietly preloads the Cloudbeds booking tools in the background on every page; they are only used to check availability and book. Analytics are cookieless, and our only other third party is an embedded map on the Practical info page, as described below.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Visits are measured anonymously.

Forms

When you send a message, your details (name, email, WhatsApp, message) are used only to reply and arrange your stay or dive. Form submissions are forwarded to our inbox by Scaleway (Scaleway SAS, a French company), which processes the data in France and does not use it commercially (Scaleway privacy policy). Your requests are also kept in the website's database, hosted by Cloudflare, with the date, the browser used and a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address (never the address itself), for 12 months, then deleted automatically.

Room booking

Live room availability and prices are provided by Cloudbeds, our booking system. To make booking fast, the site preloads these tools quietly in the background as you browse, not only on the booking page, with no separate cookie step, so the booking window opens quickly when you choose to book. Your browser connects to Cloudbeds (static1.cloudbeds.com, api.cloudbeds.com, us2.cloudbeds.com) and to LaunchDarkly, a feature-management service Cloudbeds uses, which may set cookies or similar identifiers. If they cannot load, you can still book through a simple link to the Cloudbeds website.

Maps

Our Practical info page shows an embedded Google Maps map, which may set Google cookies when that page loads.
