Fun dives (certified divers)
Already certified? Two boat dives in the morning, easy shore dives all day, and a 6-dive pack that keeps it simple.
Koh Tao is one of the easiest places in the world to log dives, and the Buddha View Dive Centre runs them daily from Tanote Bay, with the free transfer leaving from the hostel door.
Rates at the dive centre:
- Boat dive: 1,000 THB per dive (a boat trip is two dives)
- Shore dive: 800 THB
- Night shore dive: 1,000 THB
- Any 6 dives: 5,000 THB (valid one year)
- Nitrox tank: +500 THB
Haven't dived in over a year, or feeling a bit rusty? Start with the ReActivate / Refresher: half a day to get your skills back before you head out.
Send the form with your certification level and your dates, the centre confirms your spots by message. You pay the centre directly, nothing online.
What you need
Nothing but a swimsuit and a sense of adventure. No experience is required for the pool session, the ocean try-dive or Open Water. All diving gear is provided, and your instructor stays with you the whole way. For Advanced Open Water, you will need your Open Water certification.
